Event Details
Near Barbazier, an English privateer of eight guns signaled the Danish packet boat Concord to slack sail. Eight men boarded, seized papers and cargo, rummaged the boat, broke open two boxes of lace and took it. Later that evening, they returned in force with swords, drove everyone into corners, forced the captain into his cabin which they seized, and carried off several pieces of cloth.
