Irish Children Boycott Schools

DUBLIN. Feb. 1.-The children of members of the United Irish League in the west of Ireland, who are carrying on an antigrazing campaign, are rapidly becoming infected with a violent form of the boycotting fever and are threatening to close up the national schools if the children of the hated occupants of grazing lands are permitted to attend the schools. As an earnest of their determination to do this sixty pupils attending a national school near Boyle, County Roscommon, walked out in a body because the teachers refused to dismiss four small sons and daughters of men who have been boycotted.
