JUDGE WHITE.
If any thing was wanting to throw light on the efforts of a mongrel party, to divide the Republican ranks, it may be found in the proceedings of the any-thing-arians of Tennessee. To men of principle and common understanding, what, politically, can be more revolting than the unnatural amalgamation invited in the following resolution, adopted at a public meeting held in Rhea county, Tennessee.
"Resolved, That we will support Hugh L. White for the next President of the United States; and we earnestly, but respectfully, recommend him to all our brethren of the North American Family, whigs and feds, Jackson men and Democrats, nullies and anti's, one and all, those that are colored in the yarn, and those that are dyed in the wool, from Maine to Louisiana!"
