Full Text
Great Day for Paul in Augusta.
Editors Spectator:- Gentlemen.-
Monday was a great day for Capt. John Paul in Augusta.- The very large crowd of citizens of the county present at the Court-house showed that the feeling was clearly in favor of the election of Paul for Congress. We believe that will be the candid judgment of all who heard the speeches on Monday. If the sentiment of this large gathering of Augusta's citizens may be taken as an indication of the popular feeling, Augusta may very confidently be set down as standing alongside of Rockingham's favorite son, Capt. John Paul.
