Woman Is Victim
A 17-year-old married woman was allegedly criminally assaulted by two men late Friday night, on a vacant lot on Morris Brown Drive according to city police reporter. This was the second offense of this type of the year.
Officers Lloyd Rowell and C. N Wingo reported that they answered a call to 109 Stafford Street, S W., and talked with the victim.
The young lady told the officers that she and her husband were on McDaniel Street, about a block from their home, when two men walked up and asked where they lived. The men armed with pistols ordered her husband to turn around, and when he complied with this request, jerked her into a green 1941 Ford convertible coupe.
The officers quoted the victim as saying that the men carried her to a dark spot on Morris Brown drive where each one raped her twice at the point of a pistol.
The men then took $3.50 out of her purse and drove off in the car; after which the young lady went to the Stafford street address and called the police
