Missouri.—The St. Louis, (Mo.) Republican of Aug. 27, says, the Cholera has entirely ceased in that city, and bilious and other diseases are becoming much less frequent. Not a single case of Cholera had occurred during the preceding week. The disease had disappeared from most of the towns which it had visited in that region; but it had recently made a fatal inroad in the town of St. Genevieve—where forty deaths had occurred by it, up to the latest date. The Republican adds that "in the country, much sickness of various kinds exists."
