At the democratic caucus in Belfast Saturday night, the following were elected delegates to the State convention: B. F. Dunton, Chas. Baker, O. G. White, Simon A. Payson, S. A. Black, A. L. Mudgett, C. B. Hall, Joseph Williamson, F. P. Eanees. They were instructed to present the name of William M. Rust of Belfast, to the convention as a candidate for delegate-at-large to the national convention. They were also instructed to labor for the insertion of a plank in the platform favoring local-option and opposing the prohibitory amendment.
The following are the delegates to the congressional convention from Belfast: Wm. M. Rust, F. A. Carle, Ap sel Wadsworth, L. H. Murch, Jacob Cook, Wm. Berry, Alonzo Beckwith, J. H. Kales, Howard F. Mason.
