Ira Brackett of Roseworth was fined $25 and costs by Judge Shank Saturday on a plea of guilty to the charge of bringing hogs into the Twin Falls district in violation of the proclamation of Governor Alexander, which forbids such importation unless the hogs have been duly examined and a permit granted. The hogs were brought to the Salmon tract a couple of weeks ago from Roseworth and within a week cholera appeared in the herd. W. C. Sims of Rupert, deputy state veterinarian, swore to a complaint against Brackett. The costs amounted to $5.40—Twin Falls Times.
