POULTRY SPIRITED AWAY

Chicken thieves have been active in Redwood and vicinity during the past few weeks. Reports from various sections indicate that the loss in some instances has been heavy.

Walter King, a farmer south of town, says twenty-five turkeys disappeared rather mysteriously a day or two before Thanksgiving and that he has not been able to find the slightest trace of them.

Frank DeGroat reports the loss of eighteen chickens.

S. Wetmore lost a fair sized bunch as did also C.F. Martin.
