TEXAS HUNTERS
SEEK BROWNIES
ON CHICHAGOF

Dr. Kaliski and Cliff Ramschissel Will Hunt with Oscar Berg

To seek the great Alaska brown bear in his native wilds on Chichagof Island, Dr. Sidney H. Kaliski and Detective Sergeant Cliff Ramschissel, both of San Antonio, Texas, arrived here last night on the steamer Yukon. They were outfitting themselves with the necessary hunting licenses and supplies today.

The two hunters have engaged Oscar Berg as guide and will use his boat the Hyperian. They will leave town tomorrow morning for an extended stay in the field.

While brown bear is their main objective, the Texans will not confine themselves to it. They expect to do some hunting for deer and migratory wild fowl, and to try out the newest Alaska sport, salmon stripping, before returning to their homes.
