PRISONERS ESCAPE.
Got Away From Guard at McDonald's Camp Thursday Morning.

Alfred Wilson, colored, twenty-one years of age, serving time by commitment from justice court at Newberry, escaped from the McDonald turpentine camp Thursday morning, and notwithstanding that the guard fired at the fleeing convict, it was impossible to check his progress. It is said, however, that a piece of the negro's suspender was shot off, and it is believed he was wounded.

Wilson is of ginger-cake complexion and weighs about 150 pounds. His height is five feet ten inches, and has several scars on right hip. Mr. McDonald offers a reward for his capture.
