Dynamite in Montreal.

Three young men, two law students, the third a son of ex-Premier Mercier, were arrested Monday morning last for attempting to blow up Nelson's monument on Jacques Cartier square in Montreal. The young men affected indifference when arrested, one loudly declaring: "Things had no right there anyway and should be made mince meat of." They were locked up after giving their names. On the person of Paul De Martigny was found a dynamite cartridge nearly a foot long and about thirty feet of fuse.
