In South Glastonbury, Conn., lately two young men by the name of Dalton and Donovan had a quarrel. They were each fined $14 and costs before a justice of the peace; and a few nights ago Donovan purchased a bottle of whisky, which was given to the sister of Dalton and a young woman named Alice Jones. His own sister, Nellie Donovan, tasted it, and not liking it did not take more. The former two were soon seized with convulsions, and it was expected one would die. The whisky has been sent to Yale College to be analyzed.
