NASHVILLE, Oct. 4.

On Saturday the 27th ult. Col. Aaron Burr, late Vice-President of the United States, partook of a dinner given him by the most respectable citizens of this town and its vicinity, at Talbot's Hotel.

Col. Burr, in his usual ease and elegance of address, appeared quite happy; and all the company present appeared much delighted with his presence. Many elegant and appropriate toasts were drank; and some elegant songs were sung, attended with martial music. The following toasts were drank while Col. Burr was present. Gen. T. Overton, President, Gen. J. Robertson, Vice-President.

1. The rising greatness of the State of Tennessee.
By Col. Burr. 2. The friend, and friends of the state of Tennessee.
By Gen. Robertson. 3. The Federal Constitution, May it be supported by the citizens of the United States.
By Col. Hays. 4. The Navy of the United States.
By Maj. McRea. 5. The Army of the United States.
By Gen. Overton 6. Millions for defence, not a cent for tribute.
By Gen. Jackson. 7. The union of all honest men.
By Maj. W. P. Anderson, 8. The Cumberland College.
By Dr. Dickson. 9. The ninth Congress of the United States, Who have made so ample a provision for the education of our children.
By Gen. Johnston. 10. Stephen R. Bradley.
By Gen. Robertson. 11. For our rights, Tis right to fight.
By G. M. Draderick. 12. Whatever difference of opinion subsists among us, May it never impair our dignity.
