Important?—The Sacramento Bee asserted the other day that the Governor, Secretary of State and the Attorney General, had gone to attend the celebration at San Francisco. The Mercury very indignantly denies it, and asserts, positively, that they went to Marin county on official business. Now, we would like to know, who the devil cares whether the above individuals went to San Francisco, Marin county, or hellwards, where Ward's ducks went? They are only men, so far as we have been able to discover, and not very extraordinary ones either.
