The surveying of the last mentioned road was completed on the 24th ult., and Lieut. Collins and his party were to proceed immediately to the St. Francis, to locate and survey the road from Strong's, via Litchfield, to Batesville--thence to Jackson, to lay out the road from that place, via Liberty and Fayetteville, to Fort Smith--all of which surveys it is supposed will be completed by the first of July next.
