LONDON August 10.
From Constantinople we learn, that the Grand Signior, in a Fit of Rage, struck off the Vizir's Head with his own Hand in the Midst of the Divan, for giving him some wholesome Advice, which not agreeing with the Maxims of his sublime Highness he took this Method of acquainting the World that he was not to be contradicted, even in Matters of the greatest Importance. The continual Scene of Confusion on all Sides, has so exasperated his Mightiness, that it is no longer safe or prudent to venture into his Presence, so that the Office of Vizir at present is looked upon as not very eligible especially by those who would like to sleep in a whole Skin.
