WILLIAMSBURG, March 17.

Mr. RIND,

HAVING lately seen in your Paper an Ode,
Acrosticks, Acrostical Rebus's, &c. all
seemingly calculated for the Entertainment of
the Ladies; and as I profess myself a great
Admirer of that most amiable Part of the Creation, I shall be glad, through the Channel of
your Paper, to offer my small Mite towards
encouraging such an agreeable Scheme; and
to enter the List, I beg leave to present the
Ladies with the following Enigma, not doubting but some of your poetical Correspondents
will answer it, in your next Week's Paper;
and am, &c.
