Rogers. Virginia Gifford sang as a solo, "Smilin' Thru."

The entire assembly led by the Seniors joined in the School Song. Edward Farrell, Class President, spoke a few words to the Juniors who will be Seniors in the school year ahead.

The Class Song, words of which were written by Beverley Burgess and Barbara Popple and sung to the tune of "The Old Refrain," was sung for the first time in public by the class led by Virginia Gifford.

The Class Day exercises closed in the traditional manner with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" by the assembly, and the senior recessional.
