The large dining room will be in the

the back is to be placed a very handsome
pavilion, from which a cool breeze
and fine view of land and ocean can be
enjoyed. The breadth of the whole
building will be sixty feet and its height
fifty feet. This is the first attempt made
in the United States to construct a building
in this form. During the reign of
Louis Phillippe a similar structure was

for years, but soon after the restoration
of the Empire it was demolished.
