DAY AT LINCOLN UNIVERSITY
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., Jan. 12 (ANP) - On Sunday, Jan. 14, the 79th Anniversary service of Founder's day will be celebrated by the university family, the board of curators, patrons, friends and special invited guests of honor. Two distinctive programs will constitute the activities of the day. At three o'clock in the afternoon, a formal program at which Editor Chester A. Franklin of the Kansas City Call will be the principal speaker.
Governor Phil M. Donnolly has been invited to be present and participate in the program. The occasion will be outlined by President Sherman D. Scruggs, while the board of curators will be represented by one of its officers. The University faculty will be represented by S. F. Collins, veteran teacher in the department of education, and the student body by the president of the student council, William Griffin, senior.
