A. E. CORNET BARN STRUCK BY LIGHTNING, TOTAL LOSS

During the heavy rain and electrical storm last Saturday afternoon, lightning struck the barn of A. E. Cornet, at the ranch about 11 miles from Lusk, on the Hat Creek road, entirely destroying the building and all its contents.

The barn contained a lot of grain and feed, harness, an automobile, and other property. As the building was soon a mass of flames, it was impossible to fight the fire.

The building and contents were a total loss, but it is said Mr. Cornet carried a small amount of insurance.
