Full Text

F. M. Johnson is and has always been a progressive man, fully abreast of the times in all that concerns the general welfare. It is to him our people are indebted for the introduction of that benevolent institution known as the Self Endowment Association. When this was first introduced people called it a humbug, but let us judge it by its fruits. The following have already received the loan promised them. Sol King $100. Paid out $49. Nora Lilly $100, paid $58. T. J. Blair $100, paid $58. J. Mason $100, paid $61. C. Albright $100, paid $61. Jennie Pond $100, paid $61. That the association so far has done all it promised none can deny; then if it has kept its promise in the past why not believe it will do the same in the future?

We clip the above from the Benton Leader of January 9th, which goes to show that the Mutual Self Endowment Association is equal to its pretensions and pays all its obligations.
