I do not know if, when he approved our application to be incorporated, Supreme Court Justice Ford realized he was "conferring a great boon on humanity."
"The civilization of America, and the Constitution of the United States are based upon the Holy Bible and the Christian religion, and an attack upon one is an attack upon the other. If Christianity is destroyed in America how long would our government endure? The Protestant church is divided over the question of creeds, and the Klan is the only militant organization that can face the issue and make the fight for the church and Christianity,
Every Protestant minister and Christian should stand shoulder to shoulder with the Klan in this fight. This is the most dangerous situation that has faced our Nation since the revolutionary war, and it is the duty of every true American to cooperate with the Klan in the matter.
"The issue cannot be ignored, for the enemies of America are working night and day to destroy or government, and this is only the opening wedge of other attacks to undermine our Christian civilization. The very fact that the great State of New York would charter an organization whose avowed purpose is to destroy Christianity, shows the danger that confronts us. and to what an extent foreign ideals are sapping the very foundations of our national life.
"'Klansmen everywhere are urged to see that as much publicity as possible is given this bulletin, so that our people may wake up. See that your local papers publish same, and arrange to send copies to every Protestant minister and layman in your community. Get your ministers to read this bulletin at your next Sunday services and urge them to preach a sermon on same.
