LYNCHBURG.

Oct. 14, 1912.

Born to Harley Montgomery and wife a son, on Friday night.

Frank McNicol and wife, of Blanchester, were the guests of Wilber Nolder and wife.

Mrs. Claudia Booth, of Kenmore, is spending a fortnight with her parents, C. Micheal and wife.

Chas. Day, of Blanchester, was a visitor at the home of Clarence Dean the latter part of the week.

Mrs. C. C. Triplet who has been seriously ill at her home on Pearl street, was taken to Christs Hospital Sunday evening, where she will receive special treatment, her daughter Mrs. Meyers accompanied her.

Rev. A. C. Martin, wife and granddaughter, left Monday morning for Urbana where they will attend Synod.

They will also visit at St Paris before returning home.

Lon Kellis returned to his home in Cairo, Ill., Monday after a short visit with his mother.

Harold Hodson returned home last evening after spending two weeks in a Medical College in Cleveland.

W. H. and A. L. Bobbitt were business visitors in Dayton Tuesday.

Pat McCabe and wife are in Cincinnati where Mr. McCabe is in a hospital.

He is reported to be seriously ill.

Mrs. D. S. Simpkins was with her daughter at Madisonville a part of last week.

Mrs. Racheal Cleveland is with relatives in Cincinnati for two weeks.

Wm. Stauntnor and wife left this morning for a weeks visit at Chattanooga, Tenn., they will also attend the International Missionary Convention in Louisville, Ky. Their daughter, Clara, is with her aunt in Covington, during their stay.

Homer Chaney, of Hillsboro, was with his brother, Sunday.

Herchel Henderson, wife and two sons, were guests of Chas. Williams and wife, of near Fayetteville, Sunday.

Dan Murphy and family, of Hillsboro, were with Miss Fannie Chaney and father, Sunday.

Frank McNicol and wife, of Blanchester, Wilbur Nolder and family and Wm. Julian and family were entertained at the home of Harry Oesters and wife, Sunday.

Wm. Saylor and wife shopped in Cincinnati, Monday.

Luther Barnes, wife and son, and Clarence Pickerell, wife and daughter. attended band concert in Wilmington Thursday evening.

Harry Murphy and wife were the guests of Frank Hill and wife in Hillsboro, Saturday and Sunday.

Mrs. O. E. Roush and son, Marshall, were in Cincinnati Saturday.

John Pratt and family, of Dodsonville, were entertained by Al. Pratt and family, Sunday.

Clark Ogden and wife, of Vienna, were guests of her parents, over Sunday.

Miss Lottie Archer who is staying in Oxford spent Saturday and Sunday with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Archer.

Brough Smith and wife were with friends in Cincinnati Saturday and Sunday.

Dr. MeAdow and wife entertained J. A. MeAdow and wife and J. L. DeLaney and wife at dinner Sunday. They had with them in the afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Whisler and daughter and Miss Ruth Redkey, of Hillsboro.

Wm. West and family motored to Clarksville Sunday and spent the day with Rev. Ferenger and family.

D. Turner and wife had with them Saturday and Sunday, Mrs. Mary Turner, of Martinsville, and Mrs. Laura Sneed, of Springfield.

J. H. Berryman and wife, of Hillsboro, were with their daughter, Mrs. Frank Pfister, Sunday.

Miss Vade Murphy is visiting at the home of J, A. Shannon at Castalia, O., since Wednesday.
