On Thursday last, (supposed about sunset) a most audacious and cruel murder was committed on SALLY TALBOT, a young Girl, 13 years of age, of Canton, in the county of Norfolk. This inhuman act is supposed to have been perpetrated by a Mulatto Fellow, of said Canton, about Nineteen years of age, by the name of JACK BALLIS, after having first ravished her! Ballis has a broad face, thick lips, large and flat nose, about five feet seven or eight inches high, uncommonly large feet for one of his years, and speaks low and moderate. He absconded from said Canton on the night of the first instant, before he was suspected. We hear that the villain has been taken. Ded.pap.
