Army Truck Will Transport Children
Youngsters going from Calexico to Hi-Pass Health camp Sunday will get the thrill of a lifetime because they were scheduled to make the trip aboard an army truck.
Brig. Gen. T. K. Brown of Camp Lockett, commander of the southern land frontier sector, detailed Lt. T. F. Griffin, provost marshal at Calexico, and the military police to take an army truck to transport the children to the summer camp which opens Sunday.
The truck will be at the VFW hall, provost marshal barracks, at 8 a. m. Sunday.
