ST. PHILIP A. M. E. CHURCH
Rev. R. V. Branch, pastor.

The pastor preached to an appreciative audience Sunday at 11 a. m. Dr. Latson of Charleston preached at the evening worship. Both the Sunday school and League were well attended. The Presiding Elder, Dr. J. A. Lindsay was present at the class meeting Tuesday evening and made some very timely remarks. Interest ran high in the spiritual line and the meeting became somewhat emotional.

Jesse Brinson was elected to go as St. Philip's representative to the Electoral College which meets in Jesup, Ga., in April 1923. In this convention two laymen will be elected as lay delegates to the next general conference which will convene in 1924.
