At a recent meeting of the national board of the Young Men's Christian Association in New York City, T. M. Alexander, Sr., Atlanta insurance executive, was reelected for a third term as vice-chairman of the world governing body.

Mr. Alexander is the only Negro officer of the YMCA's national board which approves appointments and expenditures for approximately 60 nations with a $10 million annual budget.

He is on the executive committee of the policy making board, program committee, interracial commission and international committee. Mr. Alexander mentioned that "the policy of the national board is such that no meetings will be held where segregation is involved."

He has served locally for 15 years as chairman of the Butler Street YMCA Board and is presently a member of the Southern Area Council.
