The Westminster Review, a work of acknowledged ability, in speaking of some Travels in the United States of America, takes occasion to make the following observations, the truth of which will not be questioned:
"America possesses a stronger hold than ever on the hopes and affections of those who desire the improvement of the general condition of man."
