AN ENJOYABLE ENTERTAINMENT AT ABERDEEN.

A most delightful entertainment was given in Aberdeen a few nights ago which just now comes to us from a correspondent. The local talent of Aberdeen under the capable direction of Miss Editha DeWitt, of this city, gave an evening of variety—tableaux, songs and dancing which was a novelty in grouping, a unique exhibition of physical evolutions and a most melodious blending of vocal powers. A very large crowd attended and the appreciation was enthusiastically given. Misses Hill and Sutton were the bright particular stars in the song world for this occasion, and it is said by their friends that never were they heard to better advantage. Miss DeWitt is captivating, winsome and most gifted and her beautiful dancing was highly enhanced by the splendor of her toilets. It was a rare pleasure for the folk of Aberdeen, and a triumph for the directress and those who shared with her the honors.
