A great Whig Convention was held at Xenia, Greene County, Ohio, on the 13th instant.—Some 10,000 persons were present; a procession was formed, banners were displayed bearing upon them emblems of the various branches of domestic industry, and a cold collation was served up to the immense crowd in attendance.

Gen. HARLAN was elected President and stirring speeches were made by Thomas Ewing, Gov. Corwin, Ex-Gov. Vance, Judge Wright and other prominent men in the State. The whole proceedings were marked by the highest enthusiasm, and the most perfect order.
