STATE TEACHERS CONCLUDE ANNUAL MEET AT LITTLE ROCK.
DR. HARTZOG IS PRESIDENT
Resolutions Adopted Covering Variety of Subjects-Home Recommended for Tuberculosis Sufferers-
Randolph County Wins Prize.
Little Rock.-With the election of President Henry S. Hartzog of Ouachita College as their president, Arkansas state teachers adjourned Wednesday. The other officers elected follow:
Vice-President-First congressional district, D. T. Rogers, Jonesboro; Second district, J. W. Campbell, Pocahontas; Third district, S. T. J. Wynne, Harrison; Fourth district, G. A. Sullards, DeQueen; Fifth district, E. B. Gardner, Argenta; Sixth district, E. R. Robertson, Lonoke; Seventh district, B. L. Webb, Hamburg; recording secretary, Miss Mayo Rascoe, DeWitt; treasurer, H. W. Roberts, Cabot.
H. S. Traylor, corresponding secretary, holds over until next year.
Resolutions were adopted favoring a home for tuberculosis sufferers, denouncing the proposed system of pensions for aged teachers, and covering many other subjects. Randolph county won the cup offered to the county having the greatest mileage to its credit in attendance upon the convention.
