PACIFIC OVERTURES.

Many accounts agree that Admiral Warren has ample powers to create an accommodation with our government, and that information of these powers must have reached Washington more than a week since. Exemplifications of these powers, we learn, have also been transmitted within a few days. The Admiral it is said, will cruise off the coast, and will wait one month for any answer which the administration may think proper to give him. He has with him the St. Domingo and Africa men of war, and is to be joined by the Shannon and Junon frigates.
