TELEGRAPH SUIT.

New York, May 13. - The trial of the suit of Wm. S. Williams against the Consolidated Telegraph Companies, to restrain the issue of $15,000,000 capital stock of the Western Union Telegraph Company, was begun to-day before Judge Truax of the Superior Court. The counsel employed in the case are ex-Judges Fullerton, Porter and Whitehead, A. J. Vanderpool, ex-Secretary of the Treasury Bristow, Everett P. Wheeler and others. Jay Gould and Dr. Norvin Green were early in attendance and will be called as witnesses. It is thought the trial will occupy the attention of the court over two weeks.
