LONDON.

Dec. 16. The East India Company intend to keep a strong Garrison in the Fort lately taken from Angria, the Malabar Pirate: By this Conquest the Company have got rid of a very troublesome and dangerous Neighbour; for in January 1730 he took one of their Ships call'd the Bengal, richly laden, after a stout Resistance; and on the 22d of October, 1732, their Ship the Derby, Capt. Anson, worth 90,000 l. was shamefully surrender'd without Resistance; besides which, at another Time he also took the Restoration, one of the Company's Ships.
