GREAT POWER TRUST LOBBY WAITS CONGRESS

WASHINGTON, October 22-(AP)- Former Governor Gifford Pinchot of Pennsylvania declared here today, that the "most expensive lobbying the power interests ever brought together" would be in operation in Washington this winter, to defeat development of the Boulder dam project and for disposal of Muscle Shoals.

Assurance was given by President Coolidge to the governor of Utah, saying that the administration would not oppose any agreement reached in connection with the Boulder canyon dam proposal by the western states in the Colorado river canyon.
