Meteoric Stone from Union County. N. C.

A specimen of the Meteorite noticed in the Camden Journal last year, as being in the possession of the editor, was solicited as a donation by the Professor of Meteorology in the Smithsonian Institute at Washington. It appears to have excited great interest there, and was exhibited at a lecture recently delivered by Professor Beck. They are desirous of procuring a larger specimen, and enquire whether any other fragments of this Meteorite are attainable. Can our friend who supplied this specimen furnish us with another lump of this precious mineral?
