The Adams Hill.- A few days ago the vein was struck in the west cross cut in the 150-foot level of the Wide West mine. The vein matter is about five feet in width, with a streak of good quality of pay ore, when it was pierced, about eighteen inches in thickness. The work of sinking the shaft has been suspended, on account of the foul air, until connection can be made with the bottom of the winze below the 200-foot level. The connection is expected to be made in about ten days, when sinking operations will again be resumed.
