CAR OVERTURNS INTO CREEK LAST FRIDAY

Wife of Driver Pinned Beneath Machine For Short Time

Four people were injured when their car skidded and left the road near the John Shivener farm on Route 125 between Lynx and Blue Creek, Christmas morning near 2:00 o'clock.

M. B. Chapman, of Covington, Ky., who was driving, stated that the car skidded when it struck an icy place in the road and went over a small embankment and turned over in a creek.

Mrs. Chapman was pinned in the car for a short time until help was obtained to release her. She suffered many cuts and body bruises. Her husband and two small sons received minor injuries.

They were taken to the home of relatives in Portsmouth in the William Lafferty ambulance.
