The Mower County Fair is coming to the front in regard to cattle and horse exhibits, and the executive committee are making extensive preparations to accommodate a larger number than heretofore. The Cosgrove Live Stock Co., of Le Sueur, Minn., will exhibit the finest herd of Hereford cattle in the northwest. Wild Eyes, at the head of the herd, will surprise everybody, and is worth going a long ways to see. The citizens of Mower county should spare no pains or time to assist in making the coming fair second to no district fair of the State. The counties adjoining are invited to compete with us, and one and one third fare rates will be the means of bringing the largest crowd that Austin has ever seen at the fair. Parties not having secured a premium list will please call on or address F. A. Ticknor, secretary, and be supplied.
