Ohio Furnace Men Are Held To Grand Jury

Charged with selling liquor, Columbus C. Porter and his son Virgil Porter, of Ohio Furnace, Green township, Scioto county, were bound over to the federal grand jury at Cincinnati Wednesday by J. F. Johnley, U. S. commissioner. Both furnished bonds of $1000 each and were released, pending grand jury action.

Federal agents testified at the hearing that they purchased liquor from Porter and his son. C. C. Porter is a former deputy sheriff. Both deny the charges.
