DENMARK, S. C. - Henry Isaac, a native of Columbia, South Carolina, has been named head coach at the South Carolina Area Trade School. He will be assisted by Mr. Sterling R. Langley and Mr. Ernest C. Rentz.
Coach Isaac was for ten years head coach at Thomas Sanders High School, Laurens, South Carolina. During his stay there he had a tremendous record. He lost eleven games in ten years, tied three, and won eighty-seven.
He succeeds Joseph C. Richie who was head coach for seven years at the South Carolina Area Trade School.
Coach Isaac and his assistants will inherit fifteen lettermen from last year's squad, and from those fifteen the SCATS will emerge victorious in the following schedule for the 1960 football season:
September 24, 1960 - Open
October 1, 1960 - @ Kittrell Junior College
October 8, 1960 - @ Norfolk State College.
October 15, 1960 - @ Livingstone College.
October 22, 1960 - @ Friendship Junior College
October 29, 1960 - @ Morristown College, (Homecoming)
November 5, 1960 - Edward Waters College.
November 12, 1960 - @ Voorhees Junior College.
