After a Horse Thief.—Mr. C. T. Wallack, of Fredericksburg, was at the station house this morning looking for a man who stole a horse and buggy from Mr. E. K. Wheeler, a livery stable keeper of that place, last week, and for whom there is a reward of $25. The thief gave his name in Fredericksburg as M. Merryman, and stated that he was from Danville. Merryman arrived here Sunday morning last about three o'clock, and put up at Cox's Hotel, head of King street. He left the hotel Monday morning, since which time nothing has been heard of him.
