An extract of a letter from Wilmington, N. C. dated June 13, says: 'There is reason to believe we have a PIRATICAL VESSEL ON OUR COAST, and the suspicion should be made as public as possible. About 2 weeks since, four men were found on the beach, about the latitude of Washington, their heads and hands cut off and apparently lately done. Captain Gerard, of the sloop Guide, arrived to-day, has just informed us that he saw a suspicious looking schooner of about 30 tons on Thursday last, 30 miles S. of Hatteras, full of men, say 50 or 60. She was apparently Baltimore clipper built, carried fore and aft main and foresail, maintopmast staysail, two gaff topsails, and a squaresail. She was standing off shore when he last saw her, which was at night.'
