JACKSON, Miss., August 12 - (DSN) - Mrs. Carrie Henderson, prominent Jackson matron wife of Tom Henderson a well known local Hotel man strenuously denies the charges made against her in a $50,000 alienation of affection suit filed here several days ago.
Mrs. Henderson who also castigated the press for printing the story, called the charges a pack of falsehoods concocted in the mind of a pitiful young man.
The $50,000 love suit filed here by Walter J. Smith, local letter carrier charges Mrs. Henderson and a local white woman with unduly influencing his wife, causing their continued separation and the breaking up of their marriage.
The wife in the case is the good-looking, brown-eyed former Miss Angelene Hopkins, a domestic servant and one time Farish street waitress.
