LONDON,

July 1. A letter from Galway, received by a merchant in this city, has the following article:

The General Wolf, Captain Ferguson, has arrived here from New-York, and has brought home a number of orders for goods manufactured in this kingdom. He says the inhabitants informed him that had the British merchants fulfilled their orders, they could have sold a great many goods manufactured in England, they only required six months credit; therefore the people in that province are determined to encourage Irish manufactures: these orders have caused some hundreds to be set to work, who before were out of employ.
