Knights of Columbus To Try to Establish Sanatorium in State

SPECIAL TO THE HERALD

ROSWELL, N. M., May 18.- The state convention of the Knights of Columbus closed here last night with a ball at the Armory. At the afternoon session Las Cruces was selected as the place for the next convention and the following officers were elected:

K. P. Davies, Santa Fe, state deputy; Jose D. Sena, Santa Fe, secretary; Dr. W. Tipton, Las Vegas, treasurer; E. T. Winters, Las Cruces, warden; W. J. Jager, advocate.

It was decided to make a determined effort at the supreme convention this year to have a tuberculosis sanatorium established.
