Post Salvage Repairs 100 Typewriters

Minor typewriter repairs on more than 100 machines have been made this month by Pvts. Garland Thomas, John de Matos and William Hux, working under the supervision of 2nd Lt. Charles R. Hand, Post Salvage Officer.

Due to the lack of complete equipment, all major repairs are done by typewriter companies, but Lieutenant Hand hopes to have the necessary tools to handle all repairs soon. He wants to secure three more expert repairmen so that the field's 1,200 typewriters may be checked every three months.
