Full Text
Under the able and vigorous management of Manager Hanna, work has been progressing rapidly at the axle grease factory without cessation since his arrival, with the very pleasing result expressed in the caption which heads this article. A very marked improvement has been apparent in the progress made since Mr. Hanna assumed charge of the work, when he took off his coat and in addition to supervising the work, took an active part in its performance.
The machinery is practically all here, and that portion of it which is used in the manufacture of axle grease is already in place, but by reason of a delay in receiving a part of the box machinery, no boxes have yet been made to put it in, and therefore the plant will not blow in until said machinery has been put in position, and the required boxes have been manufactured. It is expected that all of the machinery will be placed next week, when the Custer Axle Grease factory will blow in, and commence filling orders for the best axle grease known, every box of which, bearing a CUSTER CHRONICLE print brand, will be a permanent advertisement for the city and a living proof of the enterprise of her citizens.
